The SW-Package RobotMotionCenter was developed as a tool for planning and programming of robotic production cells. Besides intuitive editing mechanisms for trajectories based on CAD-Models, many powerful assistance functions are included for computing smooth and even motions, leading to optimum cycle times.

Time-consuming and cumbersome manual path optimization is reduced to a minimum and a fast and effective ramp-up of new processes is ensured.

With the RobotMotionCenter.Base you get a flexible and powerful tool for offline programming:

 

  • Flexible import of model data (e.g. STEP, IGES, STL, WRL)
  • Comprehensive robot library (e.g. KUKA, MOTOMAN, FANUC, ABB)
  • Layout planning, reachability and collision analysis
  • Fast modeling of trajectories based on the part's CAD-model
  • Effective optimization of the robot motion through assistance functions (shortening, smoothing)
  • Fast and accurate calibration of the simulation to the real cell geometry through best-fit-function
  • Efficient generation of robot and other controller code
